AetherBody Color Breakdown
Color as a topic when it comes to subtle anatomy, auras, chakras, and energy centers is a complex one. Color is a subjective human experience and color associations within psychic work are even more so. Based on how our minds build around language and color together, color associations are as varied as humans walking on this planet.
Standardized color systems, such as the typical rainbow chakra system of the Western esoteric variety, are effectively color languages that may only actually apply to a portion of the population by observation. Color also implies that one’s psychic ability is visual in some manner. Based on my teaching experience and personal observations of psychic association and lexicon development, visual-based psychic ability is but one of many means of information acquisition.
But let me break down what my colors mean. What is my psychic language around color?
My perception of color is based on the light spectrum and wavelength of light frequency. Energy in the subtle anatomy is as much a visual as it is a sensation or feeling. Likewise, it also presents as a tone or sound. In short, the longer wavelengths feel calmer, steadier, and deeper while at the far end into violet and magenta, the colors feel more frenetic, fluid, and effervescent.
Colors for me are energy as my mind associates the perception of psychic energy work with a more science-based perspective. It is what makes sense to me and your observations can differ into associations of feelings or even body sensations.
Aether Body Color Code Overview
Red is the longest wavelength. This color is the most grounding within the spectrum that I work in. It is also the most closely connected to the physical world. The subtle spectrum in which I view begins just on the other side of where this color acts as the placeholder for the energy of the subtle body. Individual’s who have a lot of red in the subtle body portrait may find that they are well grounded and act as sturdy anchor points for friends and family. Red can also represent nerves firing in the body for me, or what I can pain interference. Sometimes pain in the physical body can translate over into my perception of subtle anatomy as the nerves function with electricity. This doesn’t always come through in readings, but it can. In my experience, muscular tension tends to cause areas of red agitation to bleed through my perception. While I wouldn’t profess to be able to view you in a reading and map out your pain, it can and has happened.
Orange is next and it is a shorter wavelength than red. This color is often a transition color but on its own, it is the balancing color in the warm light spectrum. It is still quite grounded but has more movement. It can also may present as heat or warmth and has also come through with an association of fire and flame imagery. While it is rare to have a subtle body comprised of only one color, individuals who feature orange prominently often also carry red and yellow within their subtle body portrait. This spectrum indicates the same grounding as red while allowing for the faster movement and intensity of yellow. It can also present more strongly in individuals who do a lot in the way of dance or physical movement practices, especially those that fall within the arts.
Yellow is a vibrant energy that is the fastest moving of the warm color spectrum. It is also a color that is often found around the main line of energy centers within the body. This warm color is flexible, pairing well with shorter wavelengths such as green and magenta but can be discordant when it brushes against blue and violet without transition. Yellow is the first of the longer wavelength spectrum to also carry emotion-based energy. Individuals who present with lots of yellow in their portrait are often steady but prefer more connection with individuals as compared to orange and red. Sometimes, however, yellow will pull associations towards solar energies. Individuals who may practice with a god, goddess, or other deity can also have unusually high amounts of yellow within their subtle structures, especially around the head. This isn’t often the case but has occured enough for me to make note.
Green is the center of the color spectrum and for me represents flow, fluidity, and is the primary conduit of empathy. This color is the first of the color wavelength spectrum but it is also the transition between, maintaining a groundedness that reads as nurture while maintaining a speed of connectivity that engenders forging and maintaining relationships. This color is the connective tissue between people. Individuals who present with a lot of green in their subtle body can often present as being empaths or deeply connected to understanding the language of emotions, both their own and others. This color can also represent nature connections, especially those who connect more deeply with plants, gardens, or woodland spaces. Animal spirits will also present in this color if they are not domesticated.
I separate cyan and blue as these two colors are different enough that I believe they deserve the distinction. Cyan as a color is a shorter wavelength that has more movement and is the central point of emotion-centered energy and logic-centered energy. Individuals who present with lots of cyan can often blend the connective flow of green and the more logic-focused blue energy. This energy is often that of balanced communication and when present throughout the energetic form, functions well for the speed of both feeling and thought. This color is also often found around energy centers. Cyan-forward individuals often have easier times connecting to or sensing spirit entities and the energetic world. While subtle structure of the anatomy ultimately determines this, the type of energy that comprises the structures can have a significant influence.
Blue, in contrast, is what I consider a logic-focused energy. Middle of the shorter wavelength spectrum, this deeper color is quick and allows for thought to move most efficiently. Individuals who present with a lot of blue are often more Will-focused as well. Manifesting, making their dreams into reality, or enacting their Will comes easily within this color. Psychic perception is often stable within this wavelength when present in the subtle structures. It is fast enough to transfer subtle information quickly while being stable enough to not lose data in the transference between observation and processing at energy centers.
Violet is the shortest wavelength within the viewable light spectrum. In my color language, this color is the fastest and often more energetically dense of the colors. Its speed makes it a powerful thought-based color, but without the sturdiness of blue, it can become unstable. This color is often anchored with blue energies, but on its own it can be fast enough to bridge to deeper energetic spaces outside of the spectrum of subtle structure. Individuals with ample violet in their energy body portrait might find themselves anxious or stressed if they are not in alignment with the flow of this energy. Since it is a quick and potent color, it is often found in and around the head. Rarely is a subtle body fully comprised of violet energy due to its volatility as it overlaps with the physical body. Lots of violet in and around the head speaks to individuals who may present with strong psychic abilities, although the structure and psychic development training can produce similar results with other colors.
Magenta. The color can be considered a glitch in the human mind, but it is the fastest color and the shortest wavelength. This color is similar to violet it nearly every way. Within my color language, magenta deviates from the viewable light spectrum as it represents a color that makes my color language cyclical, rather than linear. Magenta bridges violet back to red. A frequency that is so high and intense that it function as a reset to longer wavelengths. Individuals that have a lot of magenta in their subtle anatomy may present with extreme liminality, capable of the aspects of purple while counterbalancing with the grounding effects of red.
